PULL APART PIZZA STICKS

Does anyone remember a few years ago when Pizza Hut
had their Pepperoni  Bread Sticks ?
Boy do I miss those...when I found out they had them
we ordered them once and then they said they were going
to discontinue them...I was so disappointed...
I could have eaten them every night, they were so good...

...this recipe reminds me of those Pepperoni Bread Sticks...
except they didn't have the bread stick layer on top...
but just look how delicious these look...
and again another quick recipe to put together
and bake on a busy night...

...this would be one of those 'eat in moderation' foods
for diabetics and people with other health problems
because of the carbs and salt in them...but I hope you
enjoy the 'moderation' of them that you CAN eat...just
be careful please...

EXERCISE EGGS

This would be so fun in a classroom or daycare...
you just use little pieces of paper and write down
things that will get kids moving and exercising...
such as 'do jumping jacks' or 'touch your toes'...
then fold them up and put them in a plastic egg..
and they have to find the eggs to see what it tells them to do!

...this is a great idea for a healthy kind of Easter egg hunt...

...instructions here...

GRAPE POPPERS

These are so pretty...
they would be perfect for any dinner or party...
and so elegant for something like a wedding or
showers....
....holiday picnics etc.....
wouldn't they be cute with a flag on the end
of the sticks for a 4th of July gathering....

...you can buy the Candiquik coating at most
Walmart stores and I have heard Target has it too...

FLOWER EASTER CUPS

Well...surprise!  Here's me adding more
Easter posts...I knew I would run into more that
I couldn't hold back until next Easter...so...
enjoy!

How pretty are these!
...they would be beautiful on an Easter dinner table
wouldn't they....

I don't have even one egg cup like these in my house
but I bet they would work fine in any kind of cup...
...they are made with 2 sizes of cupcake wrappers...
so 'pretty' is as easy as that!

...you could use any design with pastel
colors in it for these....

EASTER EGG NECKLACE

Here is another favorite of mine...
I often wondered what those little holes in a plastic Easter egg
were for...and I'm still not sure...but I see they can be very useful
for making something like this cute necklace...
I know a lot of kids who would love this...
especially when it comes with a little toy or treat inside
the egg....

...it would be so fun to hand out to classmates at Easter time...
or even to put in your child's basket....

...of course I would be uncomfortable if I didn't remind everyone
that something like this is not safe to give to a very young child...
please be sure to keep it out of their reach....

PAPER EASTER LILY

Well, I am down to just a couple more Easter items to share for
this year...unless of course...I happen upon something that I just can't
resist posting now...which happens to me a lot...
but after Easter goes by I have lots of other great posts coming up...

I have saved this one since I came across it about six months ago and
it is one of my favorite...
I think it's probably about the prettiest paper flower I have seen...
and it doesn't look hard to make at all...

So...enjoy and if you make these flowers have lots of fun with them...!

RAVIOLI BAKE

So I was sitting here thinking...
'I wonder why recipes got so much easier to make
with the arrival of the internet...'
of course...it only took me a minute to also think
that it's not really the internet...it's more because of the advancing
of food products...
...when I think of how long it would have taken my mom to
make something like this for supper it almost makes me
feel guilty that I have things so easy now compared to what she
did...it would have taken her all day to create some of these meals
that take us only a half hour or less...
...but anyway..again I say..
recipes don't get any easier than this one...
3 ingredients tossed together and baked for a
great tasting supper!
...enjoy...

EASTER CANDY BARK

Look how pretty this Easter candy is!
I love the shade of pink she made it...and I'm sure
any pastel food coloring you wanted to use for
Easter would be just as nice...
as I have said many times I always picture something
like this in a nice clear candy jar or container with a
big fluffy bow tied at the top...
it would be a beautiful surprise for anyone you give it to...

....recipe here...

PLASTIC EGG MARACAS

I remember when I first saw the plastic Easter eggs in the stores years ago...
I bought lots of them for my daughter's Easter basket and for
egg hunts for my daycare kids and grandchildren....
but I used to stand there and look at them thinking there has to be crafty
things these pretty little eggs could be used for...
I came up with some back then...like cutting out family faces from
photos and attaching them to the top of the egg and then dressing
it up in different kinds of paper clothing...
but now...all you have to do is go on the internet and type in
plastic Easter eggs and the craft ideas using them are endless...
I have seen so many just this year alone that I could fill up my entire
blog with sharing them...
of course...I saved some to post for following Easter seasons...but...
I still have a few more to share right now...
here is one that would be so fun to make!

If you don't happen to have rice on hand I'm sure you could
use beads or coins or anything that's a little noise to fill
the eggs up with....but I'm thinking the rice would be the
favorite for most parents since it's a more quiet and gentle maraca noise
when the kids shake it...
you can get the instructions for these and lots of other fun and easy
crafts at this link...wonderful website!

PIZZA SPAGHETTI BAKE

I have been using spaghetti noodles in hot dish for many years...
sometimes I use bacon or hamburger in it and sometimes I use both if
I am real energetic at the time.....I top it with lots of melted cheese too
and like to add the pepperoni to the top ....
this looks pretty much like mine except I have never seen a recipe for it
where they add the eggs and milk....that is different and I'm sure it gives
it a great taste too...
I am pretty attached to the way I make it but I'm sure lots of you would
enjoy giving it a try with eggs in it....

...this is a very interesting blog...be sure to look around while you
are there....she has lots of things besides recipes too...

PLASTIC EASTER EGG GLOBE

You couldn't find an easier Easter decoration to make
than this egg globe..
and it's so pretty and colorful hanging anywhere...
I have to remember to do this next year...

I think it would be so fun to put the little battery operated
tea candles inside of some of them to light them up at night...

...here is the link to show you how she attached them together to hang up...

EASTER BUNNY WRAPPERS FOR CADBURY EGGS

These definitely deserve to be called cute...
what an easy little Easter surprise to give anyone...
they even make great little decorations to set around your home..

It recommends wrapping the Cadbury egg in a baby wipe
but I'm thinking tissue paper would work too...
you could even use pastel shades and have a two-toned bunny...

...this printable has six bunnies on a page....

I SPY EASTER EGG

As I continue with these great Easter posts...
I wonder how many times I can repeat the words 'fun and cute'!
...I am so impressed with the talented bloggers and everything they
make and are so willing to share with all of us...
so, even though I use these words over and over,
I am sure you agree with me...they are all so fun and cute !!!!

...take a look at this...easy to find materials...
and what fun it would be for kids (and adults)
to spend time searching in the pretty egg for the colorful items
on the Find List....

I think I will make one of these for me...

SOMETHING QUICK FOR THE EASTER BUNNY (fabric carrots)!

I'm sure a lot of you, like myself, have a whole box full of fabric
scraps somewhere in your house...I like to find easy little sewing projects
to use them for...
this little stuffed carrot is so cute...
and would not take long to make either...
I wonder how they would look in other colors...
I love the orange prints for Easter...
but wouldn't it be cute to make them in blues and greens etc.
too and display a plate of them to decorate your kitchen...
or you could tie a couple together and hang them above your
sink or from your cabinet handles...
...thank you Clare for sharing this pattern!

...here is the link to find these...

BUNNY CHOCOLATE BAR CRAFT

I remember trying to design candy bar covers
for holidays way back when I got my first computer many years ago...
I had seen some in a magazine and I thought they were
the neatest thing I had seen in a long time...
..at that time my designing program didn't work too well
and I'm guessing it was because my first computer was a used
250 mg with very low ram and everything else...Ha!
...and I won't even go into what kind of printer I had back then...

...little did I know that down the road to today you could go to
a website like this and print out beautiful ones with little effort...
I think this bunny cover is adoreable...and such an easy little
gift to make and hand out to special people in your life...

PRINTABLE EASTER BUNNY LOLLIPOP COVERS

Little things like this just make me smile...
what a little day brightener this would be for
anyone you surprised with one..
...they are just so cute...
again my mind pictures them on a co-worker's
desk or in the mailbox for the mail carrier...
or even leaving one along with your tip for
a friendly, helpful restaurant waitress/waiter...

FREE EASTER EMAIL ANIMATION

At holiday times I like to share a little gift on here for
my blog guests...
from the emails I have received in the past in regards to these I have
found that most people really enjoy the holiday animations
that they can use in their emails to their family and friends and/or
on their own blog....
so I decided to share a version of my Easter
heading....
if you want to use it be sure to save it as a .gif file
so it continues to be animated...

I hope you have fun with this...

______________________________________________________________________________

Here is a non-animated .jpg version if you would prefer
it this way.....

____________________________________________________________________________

The painting bunny came from my Scrapbook Factory program but, the animation
etc. is my own creation. Scrapbook Factory is a wonderful program that gives you
many, many great graphics to use. It allows you to make any changes you want
and it also lets you create things like cards, paper dolls, stationery and many more
fun things. My version is an old one but I'm sure the newest version is
great to use too. I got mine for a gift way back when I first started working with
computer graphics and I have had so much fun with it.

DIY BUNNY STRAWS

These look really fun...
you can attach them to drinking straws or use
them in any way you want...
I think they would be great to write names on
and put on dinner plates for your guests...
you could even put a little magnet on the back
to put them on kitchen appliances...
ideas...ideas...ideas....
they are endless for little things like this...

...the print out has bunches of these on so you
can use them everywhere !

YUMMY BREAKFAST DISH

I have never really been into eating breakfast right after
getting up in the mornings....I used to make something nice
for my family on Sunday mornings, but overall I usually
don't eat until lunch time most days....
but I do love the taste of the usual type of dishes we
consider for breakfast...
what I am saying is....I usually eat my breakfast foods for
supper...they are quick to put together and smell so
good when they are cooking....and...most of all...
it helps to solve that problem of going back and forth on what
we should have for supper!
...sometimes we come up with 3 or 4 ideas throughout
the day before settling on what we want to eat that night....

...this Yummy Breakfast Dish
pretty much includes everything you would want for a
breakfast or supper meal....
outside of fruit I can't think of anything you would need
to serve along with this....

...and look how pretty it is too....

...recipe here...

CHICK LOLLIPOP CRAFT

I really like these little holiday lollipop holders...
they are so cute and all you have to do is print them and put them together...
I mean...look at the cute face on these little guys..
anybody would love one of them...

EASTER MARSHMALLOW BARK

These are just too pretty!
...I don't know anyone that could resist picking one of these
up and eating it...
...but again...if you are diabetic etc. I wouldn't recommend
overdoing on a treat like this...
myself...I can get just as much fun out of them by handing
them out to other people who can enjoy sweets like this...
wouldn't they be pretty presented in a nice jar or Easter container...

Easter Marshmallow Bark: Butter with a Side of Bread

..she also shows these cut with an Easter egg shaped
cookie cutter...so cute...

EASY RICE PUDDING

I thought I had posted this recipe a long time ago...
but when my husband asked me yesterday if I could make rice pudding
for him I went to find the recipe and realized I didn't have it here on
my blog yet...at least I didn't find it...so here it is now...

...this one is about the easiest rice pudding recipe I have come
across over the years...I don't know that I am really a big
fan of it myself but since he likes it so much I will make it for him...
it's kind of like bread pudding... I never cared too much for it but he loves it so...
he gets his bread pudding from time to time too...

...the raisins are optional but I think they add a lot of flavor...

EASTER EGG CINNAMON ROLLS

Now this is a very cute idea too...
just make the refrigerator cinnamon rolls and
put them into plastic Easter eggs..
wouldn't this be fun at a family Easter breakfast...
or to bring to church for an Easter morning coffee get-together...
the ideas people come up with are amazing aren't they..!

EASTER BUNNY PAPER DOLLS (free printables)

These are so cute...
every year at Easter time I think about when I was
very young and I had a little yellow plastic Easter bunny
toy...I guess he was about 6 or 7 inches tall...
and I loved him so much...
I would gather up little items and create a house for him
to live in...
I can't say that I even remember exactly where I got him from..
but I played with him imagining that the real Easter bunny
was watching and seeing how good I was behaving...
so he would bring me a great Easter basket with lots of
candy in it...
(I know I was a strange child!)
...but memories like this are just so special to me when I think about
them...and how I wish I still had my yellow bunny...I don't know what
happened to him but I don't have him anymore....

I think something like these cute paper dolls could create memories
for any little child that may stay with them when they get older...
I love the faces on these dolls...

CHEDDAR BACON QUICHE

Once upon a time...many, many years ago...
when we got our first microwave...
I came across a recipe in the book that came with it...
that recipe was for quiche...
now I knew very little about quiche...never had seen it...
let alone cooked it or eaten it...
but I was curious about it so I mixed up the ingredients and
put it in the microwave not really knowing what to expect...
but not only did my husband and I enjoy it a lot...
our daughter loved it!
...many times over the years she asked me to make it again...
and I wanted to...but surprise, surprise...when I went to
do it I couldn't find the recipe book it was in...
over the years I searched but never could find it...
and back then there wasn't any internet to search out recipes on..
at least not in my house...
all I could do was go through recipe books in the store looking for it
but never did find one that sounded like what I had made...
well alas!
...here it is, finally!...
....and a very quick and easy recipe too....

..so...daughter...this one is for you...

...recipe is here...

PLASTIC CANVAS FACE MASK CLIPS

PLASTIC CANVAS FACE MASK CLIPS I have been sitting back wondering how I could help with this pandemic... I wanted to do...
