PRINTABLE LETTER TO SANTA

This is a nice printable letter to Santa...
I like it because you just print it out and have your child fill
in the blanks...it's a good thing for kids that are just learning
to write...gives them good practice...
(be sure to save one to give them when they are grown up!)

...get printable here...

3-INGREDIENT BUTTERY SHORTBREAD COOKIES

When you are filling up your Christmas goodies platters
what is more appropriate than a nice shortbread cookie...
they just seem to say
C H R I S T M A S
...and they are so perfect to give as gifts too...
I was impressed with this recipe not only because they
look so pretty but because they take just 3 ingredients to make...
how can you go wrong on that???
enjoy!

...don't forget the Christmas sprinkles!

MAGIC REINDEER FOOD

The magic reindeer food posts are some of my favorites on the
crafty blogs...they are so fun...
one year a long time ago...before the internet became so popular
and invaded everyone's home...back when you still had to come
up with your own ideas and Christmas traditions that you hoped would
become good memories for your kids and grandkids...
I made up some bags of reindeer magic dust with silver beads
and lots of sparkly glitter and placed them around
our apartment building...I saw people walk by and read the sign and
smile but nobody ever asked who put them there..I liked to think that
they helped them get caught up in the magic of Christmas and
believed they appeared by some North Pole magic...
it was fun to do...

...here is an easy mixture of Reindeer Food for you to
make and enjoy with your family...
just remember...every little thing like this will add to those
special memories...

PAPER SNOWMAN LUMINARIES IN 3 MINUTES

It is so much fun decorating a table for the holidays...
and nothing makes it more fun than not having to spend a lot
of money on doing it...
actually you can decorate with these anywhere...
how about on your dresser...vanity...work desk...on top of your TV stand
so you can see it every night while watching those Christmas movies...
put them all over the house for a quick festive look...
all you need is a few supplies to put them together..
and think how much fun the kids will have if you let them create
their own snowman face...

...have fun and of course...be sure to use only the battery operated candles
for these...!

DELIGHTFUL CHRISTMAS COOKIE GIFTS

Here are some great ideas for how to wrap
Christmas cookie gifts...
I love all of them but especially this one...
we all have these cd envelopes in our house
and if not they are easy to come by...
I love how the cookie shows through the
little round window and you can add ribbon or
a bow or anything you want to decorate it up...

...wouldn't it be fun to put one of these on your
co-worker's desk in the morning to surprise them...
also it would be fun for teachers to give to their students too..
no matter who you give one to I guarantee they will love it..
and again you will see that festive smile!

...check out all of the other ideas...they are so fun!

AN OOF-DA KID FESTIVE SMILE!

I have had some e-mails asking about my little festive smile
kid that I have included in some of my Christmas posts here...
so I thought I would explain who he is...

...this is one of my oof-da kids that I have been creating
over the past couple of years...you can find them under a tab at
the top of this page...I have posted many of them and I also
have many more yet to come...
...they are just fun little dolls that you can use as you like...
print them out for paperdolls for your kids or add them to
greeting cards or whatever idea you come up with...

...feel free to take my little Santa one here and use in
your Christmas e-mails!  It will surely bring a festive smile
to anyone you email!

oof-da! have fun!

BATHROOM DECORATING

Just another little idea I came across and thought I would share
for fun...
I have always decorated our bathroom at Christmas time and sometimes
it has turned out really beautiful...
I mean...I figure when you have company over most everyone will
at some point be visiting that little room...and why not pretty it up
and give it a festive look too!

...but...when I did this decorating I never once thought of
doing this!  Isn't that clever...and inexpensive...
and believe me...walking in and seeing it would sure bring a
festive smile to anyone!

...all I can say is...enjoy your Christmas bathroom!!

..this and bunches of other decorating ideas here...

CHOCOLATE COVERED RICE KRISPIE TREATS

How about a nice little recipe for some Rice Krispie Treats
for your Christmas goodies tray...
I think this is a cute idea...make your bars and cube them up
and dip them in chocolate...it's like little Rice Krispie Treats candy....
I haven't seen this idea before...I bet it would be good if you dip them in
white chocolate too...a pretty Christmas plate with some of both would
be so nice...

love love love all these Christmas things!

...yum!

REINDEER NOSE GIFT WRAPPING

Again I say:
"Ohhh this is so cute....I love it"
...reindeer noses on gift wrap...
all you have to do is get either a reindeer stamp or
wrapping paper with reindeer pictures on it.....which is very
easy to find...and glue the little red pom poms to the nose of each
one...so cute...another thing to bring out those festive smiles!

I think anybody would like to get a gift wrapped like this...
and will be sure to save the wrapping paper too!

...this and many other gift wrapping ideas here...
