EASY BAKED APPLES

Here is an easy way to make baked apples....
as I did for dessert tonight with my husbands help....

...they are delicious this way and even more so with
a scoop of vanilla ice cream alongside of them....

Ingredients:
apples
sugar (amount depends on how many apples you are baking, but enough to fill up the     center of the apples)
cinnamon to taste
marshmallows

1. Remove core of apples.
2. Cut thin slice off narrow end so they stand nicely in pan.
3. Pour 1/4 cup of hot water in pan and place apples upright in the water.
4. Fill center of each apple with sugar and cinnamon.
5.  Bake in 400 degree oven until apples are soft (start with 40 minutes and then check regularly with a         fork until they are done.
6. Cut each apple in half and place a marshmallow on top of each half.
7. Put back in oven and let marshmallow begin to melt.

That's it...you're done! Enjoy this easy and tasty treat!
(you can bake these ahead of time and then heat on high for 20 seconds in microwave when ready to serve)

PAPER VISORS

This looks like a fun spring project...
a paper visor template that you can print out and then
decorate it any way you want...
with markers or beads or stickers...
I guess they wouldn't hold up the best on a rainy day....
but then...visors are to keep the 'sunshine' out of your eyes right????

Enjoy!

are very special to me....

BIRTHDAY CAKE BLONDIES

be a quick and pretty looking dessert for anyone who has to
toss something together in a hurry for guests or a gift tomorrow....

I think these are so pretty to serve for Easter...and easy to make....
and of course, you could easily use a sugar free cake mix too...

EGG KIDS FACE DRAWING

.....and here is a fun little Easter face drawing page...
you can use these alone or along with your Easter placemats...
it's fun to see what kind of faces all of your guests come up with
for these little guys....
.....have the grown ups join in too....everyone has fun with these!

I'm not sure why Google turns my white backgrounds to gray
but these should print out with white...whenever I create a printable
I try to keep the background white to keep the amount of ink down for
anyone who wants to print it...

....here is your link for printing this one...

people host parties .....
this is sized to fit on a regular sheet of printer paper...
8.5" x 11"...
nothing fancy...just something for quick and easy printing...
a little something for your guests to do while waiting
for dinner...

EGG KIDS PRINTABLES

Okay, since I have gotten some email requests for my little
Easter egg kids that I have on here I decided I would
put them up for printing....kind of my Easter gift to all my blog viewers....

....print as many as you want...
you could put a hole at the top for hanging them up or....
give them out as bookmarks...or...
maybe write on them and use them for gift tags?.....
but...myself I would just print them, cut them out and give them to
little kids to play with....most kids like something like this to just
carry around with them...in my daycare years I was always
amazed at how quickly they would get attached to little things like this....

....so however you use them...I hope you enjoy them.....
and Happy Easter!

...this is a sample of what you get when you print them...

...and...since I know so many little kids that wear glasses
I thought they would enjoy Egg Kids with glasses....like this....

EASTER CARROTS

I think this is really a great idea...
and kind of gets away from the chocolate type of Easter treats...
since kids will be getting so much of that as is....

....you just use the clear icing bags...
I checked and Walmart sells them in quantities of 100 bags
for $9.99...that's not bad...
...then you just fill them up with cheese balls
...tie the top with curly green ribbon and
you have a pretty little carrot....you can add the Easter card to them
if you want..

very cute idea....

...instructions here...

PEEPS FROSTING

I have to start this post by saying I
would not recommend this treat for diabetics like myself...
but...it's Easter time and I wanted to add this because it is
yummy and sugary and pretty to look at on a serving tray...

...when I first saw this frosting on Pinterest I
thought it was actually melted peeps on top of the cupcakes...
but instead it is an easy frosting you make....

I think it would make a pretty gift to put a couple
of them in a box for a teacher...

Peeps inspired Marshmallow frosting! So easy to do at home!

THE 22 BEST WAYS TO EAT EASTER PEEPS

I know this article goes back a year but I still get some
laughs out of it....
I love Easter peeps...
I can't really eat them anymore but I enjoy just seeing them
around every year....they just kind of say...
"It's SPRING!...It's Easter!"

...I love their spring colors and I guess they come in
some great flavors now...I hear so many people say they
hate them....but it's beyond me why anybody would...
and I dare say...hate them or love them...the company that makes them sure did make it rich off of them!

.....have fun checking out these peeps ideas....

GLOW-IN-THE-DARK EASTER EGG HUNT

Cute....cute....cute....!
...again I say...I love these simple, inexpensive little ideas
people come up with....
Easter Egg hunts are always fun...but how fun would
it be to hunt for glowing eggs!

All you do is put one of those little battery candles inside,
turn the switch to on....close the egg and hide here and there and
everywhere.....you could even add a little slip of paper in them with
a number on that matches up with an Easter surprise for even
more fun!

Also...wouldn't it be cute to fill a basket with glowing eggs and set on the table for a centerpiece...
or on the bathroom vanity when guests come over...

...have fun with these......!

I found this idea here....
