VALENTINE BARK

Here we are with another blizzard day...
winds gusting to the point of causing total whiteouts because
of new lose snow on the ground...
in other words zero visibility...(up to 50 mph winds gusts) in
some areas here...
windchill is predicted to reach -50 to -55 overnight
tonight and -45 to -50 tomorrow...fun fun!
(yes, again that is 50 to 55 degrees below zero).

...needless to say we have interstates shut down...
shopping mall and many other businesses closing this afternoon...
hopefully this will help people decide to stay home because
a lot of them feel they have to be brave and run around out
and about no matter how bad the weather is...
if one has to work or make a trip to the hospital  that is one thing but otherwise stay home in
this dangerous weather!

...we have a wonderful smelling ham dinner cooking in the
slow cooker and as I sit at my computer here in my home office I can
hear the wind blowing against the window...there is something rather
soothing about that except for the fact that it is such a dangerous day
weather-wise...hoping and praying everyone is safe throughout this storm....

....so it's a good day again to share a fun idea for Valentine's Day...
let's make some Valentine Bark treats...
...these take exactly 2 ingredients!
...and would be perfect for kids to give out for Valentine's
or to take to work and treat you co-workers...
they are quick and easy to make and wouldn't cost a lot
for the ingredients....
....they can be packaged up in a nice container or in plastic bags
with a cute Valentine's label on them...
