This morning we woke up to our first snow/blowing snow day
since last winter...I am sure I am not the only one saying
"what!...I am not ready for this yet!"
funny part is...who is ever ready for it...????
we all know it's going to happen every year...
but we are never ready for it...
I remember a few Halloweens when we had zero
visibility due to a huge snowstorm...
so I guess we really shouldn't complain when our first snow comes
after the middle of November...
when I was growing up and we would get snow days from
school my mom would spend the day cooking and baking...
sometimes to help keep the house warm and sometimes just
to treat us to all the goodies...
it was a nice family time and I still think of it when the weather
turns bad now....
it makes me start thinking about cooking...
so I wanted to share this recipe...
if any of you love onions like I do you will love this one because
of the Lipton Onion Soup used...it HAS to be delicious!
...now doesn't that look like a great snowstorm side
dish to warm you up!
